Chicago, IL – Chicago Cornea Consultants™ is pleased to announce that Dr. Randy Epstein has been elected to the Rush Medical College Alumni Association (RMCAA) Executive Council. In this position, he will serve as the Benjamin Rush Society (BRS) Chairperson. Dr. Epstein is proud to serve his alma mater and hopes to make a positive impact on others through philanthropic endeavors.

About the Rush Medical College Alumni Association (RMCAA)

The RMCAA is comprised of more than 60 years of graduates from Rush Medical College. Rush Medical College graduates work in many different medical specialties and are spread across the globe, committed to wellness and quality care.

The primary goals of the RMCAA are:

To promote communication between Rush Medical College alumniTo recognize Rush Medical College alumni who have excelled in their fieldTo assist Rush Medical College and its student body through philanthropic workTo ensure high professional standards that continue advancing the medical profession

About the Benjamin Rush Society (BRS)

The Benjamin Rush Society is the philanthropic society of Rush Medical College. The Benjamin Rush Society is in place to recognize alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Rush Medical College who make charitable gifts of $2,500 or more.

As Chair of the Benjamin Rush Society, Dr. Epstein will help promote the philanthropic support of Rush Medical College, encouraging active donors and attracting new ones. The contributions received will be extremely important to the mission of the alumni association and to those in need.

About Dr. Randy Epstein

Dr. Randy Epstein is the CEO of Chicago Cornea Consultants™. Raised in the West Rogers Park of Chicago, Dr. Epstein earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana and received his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Epstein completed his ophthalmology residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He continued his training at Emory University in Atlanta, where he completed fellowships in ocular immunology and cornea-external diseases and refractive surgery. For his fellowship work, Dr. Epstein received a Research Service Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Dr. Epstein was appointed to the faculty of Rush Medical College in 1986. He currently serves as Professor of Ophthalmology.
